Before connecting to a daemon from the registry, the client now checks that its process is still running and that its `inet` address is a loopback address. A daemon whose process is gone is handled like any other unreachable daemon: a stop event is recorded and its entry removed. One consequence: a daemon running in another PID namespace that shares the registry (for example a container with the same home directory and host networking) is treated as gone. Verified: `DaemonConnectorTest`, `SingleModuleTest` and `StopStatusTest` pass. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
