Does a LucidWorks employee know...? Unlikely, since all the people directly involved with the effort are no longer at Lucidworks (I was not involved - it was mostly Grant's thing with a designer). There is some discussion of Bloomberg's logo in the issue that tracked the changes (SOLR-6058) that leads me to believe someone picked some logos they thought would be good and used them without checking. bq. I suggest a "submit a PR" type of contribution for users to self-submit...
