This idea originates in

There's no mention of anyone requesting this feature. So:
1. Can we remove the "blockers SVN-4883" annotation from this issue?
Otherwise, this would be a 1.15.0 blocker.
2. Can we close this issue as "a feature request that wasn't requested by any
user"? Naturally, if anyone requests it, we'll re-open the issue.
