To clarify, mocking out the public APIs provided by YARN should be fine.
However, relying on the internal implementation of the RM implies potential
code changes with each and every hadoop release. For example, the patch does
not compile against hadoop-2.2.0 nor does it compile against 2.5.0-SNAPSHOT.
