Yes, it's possible. Just wrap the PDF you want to shrink in an Image. Then
place that image on a new page. The book (both 1st and 2nd editions) has
examples to help get you started.

Subject: [iText-questions] I want to 'shrink' a pdf to make room for new
margins. Is it possible ?
I have a PDF containing a scanned A4-page. I need to shrink the image to make
room for a new 1cm blank margin.
I have briefly looked in the API-docs, but couldn’t find any obvious way of
doing this.
Anyone having a quick answer to this ?
I really don’t need the complete solution just now, only a confirmation that
it’s possible. Otherwise I have to quickly find another way…
