I just installed a PVR 250 in my system, it doesn't recognize it properly unless I specify cardtype=1 as an option to ivtv
Of course, I still can't get it to load without failing. Getting ready to post in ivtv-users. Thanks, Ken Here is the output: ivtv: ==================== START INIT IVTV ==================== ivtv: version 0.8.0 (tagged release) loading ivtv: Linux version: 2.6.18-ck1 preempt mod_unload K7 REGPARM gcc-4.1 ivtv: In case of problems please include the debug info between ivtv: the START INIT IVTV and END INIT IVTV lines, along with ivtv: any module options, when mailing the ivtv-users mailinglist. ivtv0: Unknown card: vendor/device: 4444/0016 ivtv0: subsystem vendor/device: 0070/4001 ivtv0: cx23416 based ivtv0: Defaulting to Hauppauge WinTV PVR-150 card ivtv0: Please mail the vendor/device and subsystem vendor/device IDs and what kind of ivtv0: card you have to the ivtv-devel mailinglist (www.ivtvdriver.org) ivtv0: Prefix your subject line with [UNKNOWN CARD]. ivtv0: loaded v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw firmware (262144 bytes) tveeprom 3-0050: Hauppauge model 32062, rev B185, serial# 2869547 tveeprom 3-0050: tuner model is TCL 2002N 6A (idx 85, type 50) tveeprom 3-0050: TV standards NTSC(M) (eeprom 0x08) tveeprom 3-0050: audio processor is MSP3445 (idx 12) tveeprom 3-0050: decoder processor is SAA7115 (idx 19) tveeprom 3-0050: has no radio, has IR remote ivtv0: Corrected autodetection from Hauppauge WinTV PVR-150 to Hauppauge WinTV PVR-250 tuner 3-0061: chip found @ 0xc2 (ivtv i2c driver #0) saa7115 3-0021: saa7115 found @ 0x42 (ivtv i2c driver #0) msp3400 3-0040: MSP3445G-B8 found @ 0x80 (ivtv i2c driver #0) msp3400 3-0040: MSP3445G-B8 supports radio, mode is autodetect and autoselect ivtv0 warning: Encoder mailbox not found ivtv0 warning: Decoder mailbox not found ivtv0: Error locating firmware. ivtv0: Error -12 on initialization ivtv: probe of 0000:01:08.0 failed with error -12 ivtv: ==================== END INIT IVTV ==================== _______________________________________________ ivtv-devel mailing list [email protected] http://ivtvdriver.org/mailman/listinfo/ivtv-devel
