Turned the system off and removed the power cable for a minute, bought it back up with 0.3.2i + your modified cx25840-driver.c, still hear the high-pitched screech. It's not as bad as it was on 2.6.11 but it's still there.
Switching back to 0.3.2d without even restarting the system always produces perfect audio. is there a way to capture all the settings of the card under both versions to compare them?
