You are right. Thanks alot.
Changed "option cx25840 i2c_enable=1,1". Here is my output with an explanation

Hello

I added a PVR-500 to my working PVR-350 version 0.2.0 (rc3j). But the tuner
was not recognized.
I have read several post using 0.3.6 (u) with the same configuration works,
so I upgraded.
Myth works as before. But my first tuner (dd if=/dev/video1) of the PVR-500 does not work (I saw an earlier post claiming the same problem 2 weeks ago,
but no advice how to fix it).

/etc/modprobe.conf:
alias char-major-81-0 ivtv
alias char-major-81-1 ivtv
alias char-major-81-2 ivtv
options saa7127 i2c_enable=1,-1,-1
options cx25840 i2c_enable=-1,1,1
options ivtv ivtv_std=2 tda9887=0,0,0 ivtv_debug=1 tuner=38,56,56 (I tried
also tda9887=0)
install lirc_i2c /sbin/modprobe ivtv; /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install
lirc_i2c

I used to have to same problem with my pvr350 and pvr500. Try changing
from 'options cx25840 i2c_enable=-1,1,1' to 'options cx25840
i2c_enable=1,1'.

Petter
