Never seen this before. It is not an ivtv driver issue, it is something
in your setup. Do you have some msp3400 module options or dependencies
in your modprobe.conf? One workaround might be to modprobe msp3400
before loading ivtv. That should work. But there really is something
screwy about your environment.
