Hi Joep

I sure hope you are right!

From your post I think I may have mistakenly sent most of the K107
information and links to Seb, and not Cc'ed the list. My apologies to
the list.

The K107 is a LCD Controller Board that provides a serial interface to a
standard LCD display. It is based upon a controller chip (PIC
16f628/16f648) and circuit designed by Professor Peter Anderson
(www.phanderson.com) at Morgan State University. He sells these chips
and the K107 PCB makers use them on their boards.

The K107 does not use any of the HD44780 LDC routines. The controller
has a one serial input to control the LCD and only requires the
serial_software.jal library.

As the controller has numerous commands to accomplish this control, I
would refer you the the manual for the Board/Software. It also does
more then just control the LCD as the board has 4 General Purpose
outputs that are controlled via the same serial interface. You can
download the manual from
<http://www/wulfden.org/downloads/manuals/k107manual.pdf>

The only 'library' I was planning on was for the commands. There are so
many I thought it would be a help when programming to have them in a
form that would be easier to read (remember). On second thought, it
would be better if I just put them in the Docs section, with examples.

Again, I apologize to the group for my omission.

Regards

Wayne
