Hi Sebastian/Joep,
Allthough the basic lib is working, I'm still working on the library
to further improve it, however, the main issue right now is that I ran
into a couple of serious compiler issues during the development, Kyle
is working on these issues and hopefully everything will be stable in
the upcoming 2.4j release. In the mean time I'm working on some real
life examples which come along pretty nicely.

Bert (van Dam) has tried both examples, the mouse demo and the RS-232
demo, see Jal list for more details, all you need is a very basic
board
The board I use is pretty simple, a PIC18f4550, 270n cap on pin 18,
Crystal 20 Mhz + 15pf caps and a USB cable connection, reset button on
pin 1 and a button on RB5 for the bootloader (also added a MAX232 to
have a debug port, but this is not required when running the
examples, but is almost a must when doing development).
People have reported that it also works with a PIC18f2445
