Sounds good to me... I don't really know much about avalon and can't help, so if you
know what you're doing, go for it! To restate what I think you're saying... we get
new avalon jar(s) on the same branch that have your patch in James CVS, everything
should still compile, and will have the ability to apply you patch to the James tree
so that if they want, they can follow the howto and get TLS working. One minor
question.. is there any reason you don't have TLS working with SMTP? I know some
email clients support that as well.
The only other question I'd have about adding your code to James CVS (if you do need
me to do it) is where to put everything? There's a couple of patches I guess to
existing files, and I guess the howto just goes in the docs directory. Is it that
simple?
