Greetings. I have some difficulty in translating the following phrase. "Just outside the city there is wetland. There, one finds crocodiles, *lions, deer, ducks, cranes, hawks, swallows, tanuki-like creatures called "raccoons", frogs, and a large variety of insects, including an abundance of mosquitoes. The place is most interesting and beautiful, but the hydrology has been disturbed to divert water for human use and to drain land for development."
*The "lion" being referred to herein is the mountain lion, which looks more like a leopard than a lion, even though the fur color is similar to that of a lion. Hope it's not too much in asking. -- Arian I. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo!
