Dear friend,
I only tried to translate it :

Watashi wa gakkoo-e shomotsu naku (=hon-wo mottekonaide) itta .
Ikuradatte benkyoo-wo shite ite mo,shiken ni gookakushinakatta.
  In Japanese letters (transsription):
  私は学校へ書物なく (本を持って来ないで)行った。
  いくらだって勉強をしていても、試験に合格しなかった。

  But,it is not good translate.
I'm awaiting the advice of genuine (native speaker) japanese.
Any more advice or correct will be added !?
