The IBM JDK is significantly faster then the blackdown port. (Based on personal 
experience. In fact according to the Volano report < http://www.volano.com/report.html 
>, the opensource Kaffe is faster then blackdown. But this isn't the answer to the 
question. The JSDK is 100% Java certified classes from Sun. This means they will run 
on any 1.1.? Java Virtual Machine. So you don't need a specific set of classes for 
Linux
