Hi Scott,
I agree. The current "best" we have found is e-test, and they want $100K
for 100 users or something like that. Absolutley out of their minds to
charge that much money for a single-task product. I realize their testing
does a lot..but not that much!
I found a few others. VeloMeter looks promising. However, I dont recall the
url. There was another one someone told me on IRC I forget the name..but it
too looked good. Any others you found yet? The two I found seem to be based
on servlets usage.
I am curious..how hard would it be to write a servlet that does what we
want? Isn't it a matter of just running a loop and in that loop creating a
ton of threads, each directed at the same URL? If so, it wouldnt be too
hard to pass in teh username/login via the GET url method to log in someone.
