I had this happen too and thought everything was okay. When I looked at the
logs I saw that jserv was restarting all the time, and that everything
really wasn't okay. For example, I couldn't access the IsItWorking servlet
included with the JServ package.

It ended up being a permissions problem.

Hope this helps,
Marc Thompson

Ok, I have installed ApacheJServ-1.1-b3_RH6x.i386.rpm
and seems fine... except now there is a [java (defunct)]
process being invoked every 30 secs or so. Why is this
so? Anyone knows how to fit this? Thanks.

System: RedHat 6.1, JDK1.2.2, JSDK2.0, Apache1.3.9
