I got the "Real-Time Rendering" book for Christmas.  It's not bad.
Helped me understand quaternions a little better too.

I also own the OpenGL redbook (programming guide).  Good source for
seeing the specs on what those min/mag tex filters are really supposed
to do, has a good description of the graphics pipeline and other stuff.
