I have an application wherein LineArrays turn black if they are displayed with a Texture. I'm running RedHat 8.0 with Sun's jdk1.3.1_08 and Java3D 1.3 fcs from Blackdown. I'm using a NVidea Quadro4 900XGL and I'm *fairly* sure the XFree86/OpenGL/nvidea drivers are updated and installed properly.
Could this be an improper use of Java3D? Or perhaps a Java3D bug or platform/driver/device problem? Incidentally, I don't have the problem on Solaris or Windows. To illustrate this I added a TetrahedronILA from the demo/PickTest directory to the scene graph of the demo/TextureTest/TextureImage class: these are the test classes that come with Java3D. On Solaris there's no problem, but on my Linux box it doesn't seem to work; the lines are black.
Can anyone offer any advice, or point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
