Has anyone gotten any explanation on what the deal is here? Does this problem only affect Java3D or is there some basic aspect of their openGL support that doesn't work properly? Are the manufacturers at all concerned? It would seem like a pretty basic significant problem. Could the Sun development team apply any pressure to nVidia (or have they already?) to at least get some credible recognition of the problem, in case they are just looking at it as a few cranky users complaining about some trifle. > Hi > > I've now tried both the new Diamond driver (0255) and the new nVidia > "Detonator" driver. > > Neither show any improvement; the problems with e.g. ConicWorld, > AppearanceTest and SphereMotion are still there. > > I have reverted to version 520 of the Diamond drivers, which are pld > but at least work! > > Sorry to be the bringer of bad news. > > Glenn. > > ===================================================================== > To subscribe/unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Java 3D Home Page: http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/3D/ > ===================================================================== To subscribe/unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Java 3D Home Page: http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/3D/
