More importantly, there is a full-fledged OpenGL+GLX implementation that
supports hardware, being developed by XI Graphics (www.xi.com). Since it
supports the GLX extension, and supports a number of 3D chipsets, it would
see an ideal way to support java3D. I don't mind paying the couple of
hundred dollars to get a good 3D x server for linux, especially since it
means I could avoid NT on a subset of my PCs ....
