Hello

I am experiencing a Window NT crash (the blue screen) while stress testing java3d
applications
(this also happens with java3d demos provided in the package).

Configuration:

pII 400MHz 64M RAM. Asus AGP-3400TNT (RIVA TNT) card with latest driver (v1.02) from
www.asus.com.
Windows NT 4.0 service pack 3.
jdk 1.2 (not 1.2.1 yet!)
java3d 1.1.2 for jdk and OpenGL

The behavior:

As far as I can see any java3d application can crash the windows. The simplest is the
HelloUniverse example in
demo/java3d/HelloUniverse. I am getting spinning cube in a small window, while keeping
TaskManager open and trying to
figure out how much memory is allocated by the java process. I am stressing the applet
by reloading, resizing the window,
minimizing the window etc...

First of all I see that the allocated memory amount grows constantly, there is no
garbage collection, why? More over,
in FourByFour Example, when I am simply spinning the scene without clicking, memory is
allocated each time I release
the mouse.

Anyway at some point the java process gains 20-25M of memory and I am trying to stress
the process by the window resizing to full screen (by the maximize button) . There I
am getting a blue screen reporting uncaught kernel exception in
win32k module.

Any hints?
Any information I forgot to mention?

Thanks.
