Better said - Android is a specific segment in the market. I think it
has got big chances of dominating the mobile segment, but it has
nothing to do with the server side. That's one of the many point about
which the article made a big mess. In the mobile segment, it's not
clear to me what Oracle is going to do. They asserted their
commitment, but it's pretty much stagnating (see my previous posts
about JavaFX Mobile). I think they could move sooner or later, but
it's clear they are not particularly worried about it, thus they are
not worried by Android.
