Huh? The topic has shifted yet again to hardware acceleration via
specialized processing units. In the last post I basically agree with
you that it will remain very isolated cases where those could come in
handy for general purpose computing - due to reasons I outline. Please
read my posts again without putting words in my mouth, you will see
that nowhere do I claim that GPU's will speed up hardware and there's
no reason for you to cry foul like that.
