Since jaws tells me everything I need to know and I can't see the screen anyhow I always keep the monitor off on the desktop and if I have a sighted person here that needs to see it it is no problem to turn it on. Now for the question I have, I have a laptop I use at church and I was curious if their is a way to turn off the screen. I think it is a distraction for the people when I am teaching Sunday school or at times when I am doing the Sunday service. Sure would appreciate the information if their is a way to turn it off.
