I would concur with Dave in that only one sender at a time can be removed from the blocked senders list. The messages from blocked senders (without additional steps, such as deleting messages from server) go only into the Deleted items folder. One can from time to time check Deleted items, to see if there were genuine messages caught up in the general spam filttration as well as those that were indubitably spam.
