Lisa, Once JAWS 9 is released, you would then have to purchase version 9 when you upgrade. If you order 8 now with and SMA (that means you'll also receive 9 and version 10), you end up paying the same price and will ultimately get version 10 as well. So your question is, how long before 9 is released... We have been targeting a release date in late September but that has slipped a bit already. We are completing some significant changes with respect to Microsoft Office including the calendar and getting this all wrapped up is taking longer than I had hoped. Since this is delaying JAWS 9 a bit, you will have more time to delay the purchase but I would not let it go past September in order to take advantage of the savings. Hope that helps, Eric -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Lisa Sent: Thursday, August 23, 2007 12:27 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Opinion wanted, should I upgrade my jaws? Hi Eric, thank you for that bit of information. How long do I have to get jaws 8? I'm really considering upgrading because I have Microsoft office student and home edition 2007 on my computer, and I'm having a hard time using it with my jaws 6.
