It all depends on when you got your SMA. The best thing to do would be to
call the sales department and ask them directly.

Lisa,

Once JAWS 9 is released, you would then have to purchase version 9 when
you upgrade. If you order 8 now with and SMA (that means you'll also
receive 9 and version 10), you end up paying the same price and will
ultimately get version 10 as well.

So your question is, how long before 9 is released...

We have been targeting a release date in late September but that has
slipped a bit already. We are completing some significant changes with
respect to Microsoft Office including the calendar and getting this all
wrapped up is taking longer than I had hoped. Since this is delaying
JAWS 9 a bit, you will have more time to delay the purchase but I would
not let it go past September in order to take advantage of the savings.

Hope that helps,
Eric

Hi Eric,
thank you for that bit of information. How long do I have to get jaws
8?
I'm really considering upgrading because I have Microsoft office student
and home edition 2007 on my computer, and I'm having a hard time using
it with my jaws 6.
Take care,
Lisa
