I just tried it out and it worked perfectly fine, try it again and see what happens. This is a windows explorer key combination and nothing to do with jaws so far as key strokes are concerned. I have a question about this. My instructor had told me a few years back that the shortcut key for creating a new folder is alt and F pressed together, then the letter W by itself, then the letter F by itself. This used to work like a charm, but now it doesn't always do the trick. I like to create new folders in my downloads folder for the DVD's I own and then rip to MP3 format. When I try the alt F, the letter W and then the letter F, often I'm not right at the edit field for create new folder.
