You don't have to stop doing it that way, you just have to be a bit more patient with your keystrokes. LOL. One of my biggest mistakes when I first went blind, was thinking that I could keep doing things as fast as I did when I was sighted. Granted, I realize that not all people feel that way, but sometimes, patience is a common universe among society, and we try to do as much as possible at any given moment. One thing you can do is use the advice given already, and that was using the F5 key, just before attempting the alt+F combination, then pressing W, this way, you're assured of going directly into the New sub-menu, and landing directly on the folder choice. If you do it that way, then all you would do is press the F5 key, followed by the alt+F keystroke, then enter twice, as you are placed right on the folder option At that point, you'll land in the edit field of the file name and you can enter the file name at that point. So, you see, you don't have to completely change your habits, just modify them. Smile.
