Thank you for letting me know, I thought I might be in for a big change if I 
went with a Mac.
Just trying to work out if it is worth it.

The experience is totally different. Some concepts are similar, but you will 
need to be prepared to put aside your knowledge of Windows and accept a 
learning curve. You can put Windows on a Mac, and that way you can continue to 
perform essential tasks while learning a new system.
