You can build a PC yourself, or get someone to do it for you; a MAC is a Mac and as far as I know, isn't nearly as customisable on any level. I used to use an Apple in the pre-macintosh days, but, well, that was a long time ago, now. *grins*

I stayed with Windows largely because I couldn't justify the cost differential. Macs are simply more expensive and when you get down to it, a PC does what a PC does.
