They are just fixing bugs they created, and creating other new bugs. So if the current version is not working to your liking, you update to the next one, and have something else to complain about.

No. JAWS 2018, as others have said, is a completely different version from JAWS 18. You need to install JAWS 2018 from your DVD and then check for updates before you will be "up to date".
