No hit alt+s for setting from with in the jaws config utility and then go to user options and check the appropiate radio buttons there.

In the jfc manager for outlook express 5-6, I can't find an actual settings heading, but alt s takes me to user options. The only thing I can find to the right of that and there is nothing if I arrow below it is return to factory settings. Do you think I should risk entering on that? The three : are: : : None : highlighted : all : : You stop on highlighted. : : Now this won't stick unless you save it in a configuration. : : If this is happening in all programmes you want to save it in the Default : configuration. If it only is happening in Outlook Express then you may wish : to save it there. : : When you are in Outlook express you open the Configuration Manager with : Insert + 6. that is the number six on the row of number keys above the : letters just above and between the T and the Y. : : Jaws should say something like: : : Jaws configuration Manager : : and then the name of the configuration file, in your case probably something : like : : Outlook Express.jcf. : : I am running Vista and Windows Mail and Jaws 9 so it may be just a little : different I can't remember. : : Once that is open go to the Settings menu, the shortcut is ALT + S. Jaws : should say something like Settings. You can as well press ALT, then arrow : once to the right. : : Now arrow down once to User Settings ... and whack Enter. : : Arrow to the right three or four positions until you hear Screen Echo. : Something will be checked, arrow up or down until Jaws says : : Screen Echo Echo highlighted text checked. : : Hit escape once highlighted text is checked then press CTRL + S to save the : configuration then ALT + F4 to close the configuration manager. : : This should fix the problem if it is what we all suspect it to be. : : Hope this helps and that I got it explained adequately. : : Good luck. : : : : : : ----- Original Message ----- : From: "Jewel" <jewelbla...@xtra.co.nz> : To: <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> : Sent: Friday, April 24, 2009 9:07 PM : Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Am getting far more information than I want : : : > David!
