Hi brian,

You gave the ANSI code value, not the ASCII.  ANSI is the code wherein you 
type a leading 0for every character.

That said, I don't know that - or if - there is an ASCII value for the 
page-break symbol: and the bad news here is that the JAWS Dictionary File 
will not accept this ANSI0012 symbol as 'an original expression'; so it 
can't be treated there.

Hello Lisa,

The ASCII character is 12.  If you type it in a document you would first
turn on the number lock key on the number pad and then hold down the Alt key
as you type 0012.   If you use the dictionary manager for Word, after using
the add button type the actual word as \0012 and the replacement word as
PageBreak.  use CTRL+S to save changes.  JAWS should speak the words "page
break" when you move the cursor over one after making this addition to the
dictionary manager.
