I recently purchased a new netbook. It is an Acer Aspire One. It has JAWS 8 with Windows XP Home installed on it. I tried to download several files this evening and neither the Applications key nor the right mouse button would work properly. Instead of displaying the option to download a file, it would merely allow you to save the web page and not the file being linked to. I had my dad, who is sighted, use the touch-screen mouse pad and download several files. He was able to do it without problems. Every time I used the arrow keys, pressing the Applications key or the right mouse button only resulted in pulling down a menu to change the background display. Are there certain netbooks that JAWS does not interface well with? Any help would be appreciated.
