Josh- Sounds like JAWS issues to me.  Suggest you go to FS site and download
the latest full version of JAWS.  Then delete the current version and
re-install.

Sorry I also forgot to add I am experiencing what one of the other members 
had mentioned. i go to delete a letter and it deletes the whole word if not 
several words. This is a critical issue when it comes to typing my papers 
for school.  Thanks for any suggestions on this situation
