Steve, thank you for responding Yes, I did this. I called FS support today and they were stumped. We hooked up with Tandom but found nothing. They gave me a ticket number and said they could call back.
I just remembered something. When I first started installing openbook, I heard the word error. However, the install continued perfectly. When I open openbook, everything is here as it should be. I can also turn on the Pearl light. I tried several USB ports on my laptop and different Workflow options. The laptop still froze. I had to use alt F4 to leave the program. Steve, I was looking around to see if there is an option to hear all of the access keys as you move through the menus as there was in past Openbooks. Have you seen this. I pointed out to the tech that my Toshiba operates perfectly with Jaws. When you said you set up the process successfully, did you go to the Advanced section of Openbook, open Devices and select Perl as your scan source?
