I think this should work, Andrew. 1. Locate the section you want to delete and using the Reverse and Fast Forward commands, make sure that you are at the beginning of the sectionb.
2. Press the Left Bracket key which is immediately to the right of the P key. 3. Move to the end of the section, line up on it carefully and then press the Right Bracket, the seconbd key to the right of the P key. Those are Gold Wave markers which indicate the beginning and end of a recorded sample. 4. Press the Spacebar to make sure that you are hearing the right section. 5. press the Delete key and the section will be removed. 6. A cautionary note here. I always copy the entire file to a temporary location before performing any editing like this. In that way, if I make a mistake, the original uncut file is still available.
