I am sure there are many changes in WMP I am not aware of, but the main improvement I enjoy is the advanced media sharing on your home network. However, some of this depends on the advancements in networking, Home Groups and Libraries of Windows 7.

There is just so much stuff in the world that, to me, is devoid of any real substance, value, and content that I just try to make sure that I am working on things that matter.

What is the difference between WMP 11 and WMP 12? I have been using WMP 11
for some years and as it works for me I haven't tried to upgrade.

That is what I was thinking.
It doesn't matter what I do, everytime I put in a CD it still starts to rip.
Does anyone have the direct link for me to download it?
Thanks for the help.
Patti

The only thing I can suggest is to uninstall and reinstall windows media player 11. It shouldn't rip if the box is unchecked but it may be a flaw in the program.

Hey Gang,
I'm running XP pack 3, Jaws 10, and Windows Media Player 11.057.
Here is my problem.
Everytime I put in a CD it goes to rip CD automatically.
I made sure the box to automatic rips CD is not check, but it still does
this.
How can I stop ripping CD'S, because I don't want to keep on ripping CD'S
all the time.'
Thanks for any help you can give me.
