hat is true and also don't forget that if there are 4 keys to the left of
the space bar
you may have an fn key too which is the second from the left or left of
control then the windows key and altt is next to the space bar

You could always use the control escape command to access the start menu.

I know that on a regular keyboard, the windows key is between the control
and alt keys, but that's not the case on this laptop. Right now, I'm trying
to find it to access qwitter.

That Help key is usually used in conjunction with some of the function or
other keys for funky actions like putting the screen off or sleep mode or
operating Bluetooth or the WiFi radios things like that.
Look on the left of the spacebar, you will probably find ALT then Windows
Logo then another Control key. Maybe the applications key too.

regarding the windows key, from right to left, I am seeing my spacebar,
the alt key, the control key, and what I think should be the windows key,
but when using it with jaws, it just says "help" and doesn't do anything.

You don't have to configure anything. The Jaws key on your laptop is
the Caps lock key. The Windows key is usually on the left hand side
next to the Alt key.
The Pc cursor is the Caps Lock plus the semicolon. I'm not sure what
key is the Jaws Cursor. The Jaws cursor is the Caps Lock plus the
letter P. Hope this helps. Wayne Scott"A merry heart does good like

Subject: [JAWS-Users] jaws commands on a laptop?
I recently got a laptop and am trying to determine what keys are used
for jaws cursor, the pc cursor, and the windows key. If I need to
configure specific keys for this, could someone send me the information
on how to do this? I've already changed jfw settings for laptop instead
of disktop.
