Okay but how do you do that when jaws is your only screen reader?
Maybe I should look for NVDA  or something like that, load it and then use
it to re-install Jaws.  I already have the full version in my Downloads
file.

     My personal experience is that if one is using the beta version of JAWS
12, it will not update to the latest version successfully. One needs to
remove jaws from their system and install the latest  version. Then it works
like a charm.

John, sorry you are having such a problem.
I successfully downloaded the 64 bit for my Windows 7 64 bit laptop. It
installed perfectly. I have found times when Jaws is giving me more
information than past versions, but other than that, things seem to be
working perfectly.
