actually he can copy it using say Karen's replicator but it won't completely
copy the O.S. files (those in say program files and the windows folder) if
it will run on his computer, me I'd just use the programs I have to just
backup the needful stuff, when I reload I prefer to completely reload, pain
in the rear that it is to do.

Hi David,
Yes, you can absolutely do that, just as long as you are not trying to copy
the operating system partition.

Hi Tom,
Did you mean, control, instead of alt?

Using JAWS
The way I do it, it is as simple as copying files and folders.
I use Windows Explorer to highlight the folders and files I want to copy.
You could just highlight the, My Documents folder.
Alt C, to copy
Then open the external drive and paste the files there, Alt V.
Then sit back and wait while the system does the copying.
Blessings,
Tom
