Thank you very much for your help. I went and checked the updates for JAWS on this computer, and there were updates to be installed. I followed all the steps. All is good. I should have done that before I asked thanks again for the help.

Perhaps you need to do a JAWS repair. Go back to run the JAWS set up file. Activate the set up file. After it configures your system for JAWS, with the ticks, there should be a little menu of three items. One of them is Repair. That will restore the JAWS to whatever version you use to do the repair.
