I am just a bit of a script writer, but unfortunately no where near the level of the guys at FS so I wouldn't know what to change either.
I am going to contact a couple of folks I know, one has 2007 and the other is using windows mail to test my key map trick with those systems. The nice thing is if it does not work like in the case of 2010 I simply deleted the key map file and called it a day. No harm done.
