Hi Shane and all, I am running JFW V. 14 under Windows 7 Pro on a 64-bit Dell PC. I went to www.java.com and downloaded / installed the latest version of JAVA. As instructed I reopened my browserer (Internet Explorer) to ensure that the JAVA update would take place. However, upon restarting my PC, I get the pop-up message telling me that there is a new version of JAVA and would I like to update. I cannot get JFW to get me on the pop-up message and there is no sighted help at the moment. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Before, with update 6 series, the tree views under the advanced settings for Java did not work. They still aren't perfect, but with update 7, it read the choices in that tree. I don't know what version of Jaws or Windows you are using, but I've got both xp and windows 7, both running Jaws 13.0 latest build.
