generally its only a little frustrating to accomplish this,

you need to know the admin sign in name and password, then you sign into the
router, (that's done with a basic URL , but I can't find it right at the
moment) then you will get the name and password window, and then there
should be a list of items and the update item will be in there, sometimes I
have had to use the jaws cursor to click what I wanted to do and to see
what was happening but it hasn't been to bad.

most of the time unless you've already changed it you can get the sign in
address, the default name and password from the manufacturers website.

HTH,
inthane

Subject: [JAWS-Users] updating router fermware question

Hi,

Has anyone updated firmware for their router, if so is it a painless but yet
accessible adventure?

I'm being told that I need to update the firmware for my netgear which is
why I am asking.

What method does one take to any who answers to accomplish this?

Thanks.
