Odd. That happened to me with an old computer but only when playing a DVD. I assume it's not a DVD we're talking about here? I was horsing around and trying out the Plextalk PTR2 as a DVD player when I ran into that since the PC's DVD player didn't work. It did something symalar and the PTR2 got hot, and locked up. I guess it was due to a slow transfer rate. So, what media are we talking about here? Could there be some lag in the moving of data someware perhaps?
