For example, say I am looking for a excel folder named 2012 I would use Window + f and arrow down to document, spreadsheets, etc. and enter on it. In the edit box I would type in the folder name or file name. Reading his post, he was looking for a file. But you are right, the control + f is a screen find command. ----- Original Message ----- From: "justin williams" <justin.willia...@gmail.com> To: <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> Sent: Sunday, February 17, 2013 6:56 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Invoking The Control + F Keystroke > No, it is control f. > > -----Original Message----- > From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On > Behalf Of RJ > Sent: Monday, February 18, 2013 6:42 PM > To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com > Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Invoking The Control + F Keystroke > > Window key + f > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Mike B." <mb69ma...@charter.net> > To: "Jaws-Users List" <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> > Sent: Monday, February 18, 2013 6:32 PM > Subject: [JAWS-Users] Invoking The Control + F Keystroke > > >> Hi All, >> >> Whenever I invoke the control + F keystroke, which is supposed to invoke >> the >> screen readers find dialogue, Jaws goes dead & I have to use the Insert, >> Windows key, + F4 keystroke to shut Jaws down & a shortcut keystroke to >> get >> Jaws running again.
