Kimsan, I could do that but, if I am going to go to the trouble to use the extra key strokes, I may as well use the JAWS window list. That is fine sometimes but, To me, it is much better to just use alt tab, if you are just jumping between two or three windows and doing so very frequently. If I am switching windows five or six times a minute, using the task tray or JAWS window list to switch gets a bit cumbersome. Thanks, Scott Duck

Previously, up through Windows Vista, I could alt tab between all of the programs that I had open. With Windows 7 and now with Windows 8, often I cannot alt tab between all of them. I'll give you an example. I was just paying a bill online. I had open Internet Explorer, Notepad (where my payment info was), and JAWS. I was in IE and wanted to alt tab to Notepad. However, when I pressed alt tab, it went from IE to JAWS and would go no farther when I held alt and continued to press tab. If I released alt and then pressed alt tab again, it would go back to IE and would go no farther. So, only IE and JAWS were in the alt tab order even though Notepad was also open. To get to Notepad, I had to use the JAWS window list, which I don't find as convenient as alt tab. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone have any idea how to fix it? As I said, this started with Windows 7 but I am now using Windows 8, on a different machine, and am getting the same behavior. I upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 at the same time that I upgraded from JAWS 9 to JAWS 13 (I'm now using JAWS 14). I don't know if this is a Windows issue or a JAWS issue or something else. This is a small thing but it really bugs me so if anyone has any ideas, please speak up.
